At this point, “The Rock shows love to Strange Music” might have to get it’s own section on the site, because, it seems he’s reppin’ the Snake and Bat on a weekly basis!

His most recent nod to Strange, however is the biggest one yet. The Rock, an executive producer on CNN’s new series Soundtracks: Songs that Defined History talked with Anderson Cooper about the series and The Rock’s own music taste.

Johnson talked about growing up on country music, the influence Nina Simone had on him, and, of course, when asked about what music he works out to, he mentioned Tech N9ne, calling him, “Probably the most successful underground artist unsigned by a big label.”
